Pepe Chamorro

Pepe’s career in advertising began in 1989. In 1996, he founded his first interactive agency that he later sold to the Group Delvico Bates which then became Digital Bates. The company quickly became one of the three most important digital agencies in Spain, winning the Grand Prix of interactive advertising in Sun and one of its most important customers: Telefonica/Movistar.
 
In 2001, Pepe joined Delvico Bates as General Manager to work with clients such as Movistar, Lucky Strike, Ballantine’s, Beefeater, eleven, Mahou or Schweppes; among others.
 
In 2005, Chamorro becomes CEO of JWT Spain and member of the European Digital Board, which develops projects with Unilever, Johnson & amp; Johnson, group model Europe, Kellogg’s, Bankinter, Mazda… During this period, JWT was awarded for its work with different clients in all the international advertising festivals, as well as with Corona be advertiser of the year at the Ibero-American Festival of the El Sol advertising.
 
Pepe Chamorro was the first President of the interactive jury at the festival El Sol and was part of the first panel of digital jury in Cannes (CiberLyons). Pepe is passionate about gastronomy – where he participates actively in different projects. He is also a big basketball fan, a sport that he still practices.
